This Manhattan nursery through twelfth grade school uses Apple products everyday to help realize its vision of global citizenship through education. Nursery through fifth grade students participate in a full day immersion program, spending alternate days in either Spanish or Chinese. The K–5 program focuses on a one-to-one iPad program with access to MacBook Air carts. Grades 6–8 are part of a one-to-one MacBook program with access to iPad carts. Grades 9–12 focus on a one-plus-one program, in which students receive both an iPad and a MacBook Air. Avenues classrooms are student-centric, collaborative, hands-on and engaging spaces that use inquiry and technology to foster student learning. Students and teachers showcase multimedia projects throughout the campus as both a reflection of the innovation occurring every day and as further inspiration for future ideation. Professional learning includes one-to-one and group learning sessions and collaborations with schools and campuses around the world.
